A content inventory is a list of contents on a website (text, image, etc.). Based on the existing contents, a content audit can be made to recommend further improvement of the website.
1. Involve stakeholders in the early phase of a design process and prepare pieces of paper and pens (or online tool).
2. Determine a problem.
3. Ask stakeholders questions that clearly specify the problem in step 2 and make notes of the answers
4. Select 15-20 concepts from answers and put most general concepts at the top and most specific concepts at the bottom
5. Discuss the concept map and get insights on how to solve the problem.
